When people ask me “what do you do?” I always find it really hard to answer. We are a nation that likes to pigeonhole, to categorize, and apparently I do not fit well into a pigeonhole. Let me explain, and then you can decide “what I do”. I’d be interested to hear your thoughts!

I am a writer. I write screenplays, novels, short stories, articles, and technical documentation. Some of it has been published or turned into films, although as yet most of it has not; I aim to do something about that ratio this year!

I am a photographer, working on a number of collections at the moment from outdoor nudes to photographs of road signs and warning notices. My photography web site is www.ivmphotography.co.uk where you will find all sorts of things that I have done.

I make films, as a director and producer I have competed my first feature and hope to sell it this year in Cannes. I’m working on my second at the moment (“AB: abnocto bibere”) which will be filmed late 2009 and into 2010.

I am a quality assurance and pharmaceutical regulatory compliance consultant. Having spent over twenty years working in quality control and assurance for various companies, for the last eight years or so I have specialized in pharmaceutical systems, and have worked with various companies as a regulatory compliance analyst in IT infrastructure and manufacturing process systems.
